Spring Thaw

Snowflakes are still falling, and the chill of winter is still present, but the days are getting longer and brighter. Spring is right around the corner.

Spring brings new life to many things. We are feeling the ‘new life’ at ESs already. Warmer temps get people thinking about outdoor activities and projects and all correspond with our sign portion of our industry.

As mentioned back in December, we had designed and fabricated the outdoor signs for Andy’s Bar & Grille. Most recently we’ve been appointed to create the outdoor wall murals that will be the backdrop, or better yet, the first impression of the new Bar & Grille before you even step inside. We’ve also been given the green light to create their menu design and layout. It’s a privilege to us for our hard work, excellent quality, and quickness in this time constrained and economically slow world. Honored? You better believe it.

A custom design was created for Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids for their annual Sportainment Night that highlights the school’s marketing and sports programs. Prizes are won and contests are performed on this day. The logo was a huge hit with the Sportainment marketing group for 2009. We hope to get the privilege to do it yet again.

We’ve created another banner for a sponsorship at the South Wood County Recreation Center (hockey rink) in Wisconsin Rapids. The banner design was for Metcalf Lumber. It currently is hanging up, and will have pictures very soon on our website.

Other current and hopeful projects include a website redesign, several banner creations, lawn signs, digitally printed flyers/posters, and much more.

The business keeps growing nearly every single day by leaps and bounds. New clients arise, opportunities present themselves, and challenges are our specialty.

You soon will see completed project pictures, downloadable content, and sponsors all on our site. You may also start to see the ESs name online in different places as we branch out. Our awareness to customers is key to success.

Winter Freeze

The cold of winter usually spells a slow time for our industry. Most people are thinking Christmas and time with family and friends, time away from work, and time to relax and unwind.

However, while this time of the year is typically slow for the sign production end of our business, we still managed to fabricate the new business signs for Andy's Bar & Grille in downtown Wisconsin Rapids. Winter is also when our other services seem to flourish. Recent developments have led to new clients and projects to surface. Our web services are starting to really come out in full force. Future web projects include a few local businesses in the Wisconsin Rapids area. Another future project includes a redesign for WisconsinPrepHockey.net's logo.

Lately we've been getting more and more inquiries about exactly what we offer, and most are blown away by our broad range of provisions. We've just uploaded a new piece to the website called "SleekPro" it features a sleek and professional look with a little added flavor. Website Beta Launched!

The beta version of www.eternalsoulstudios.com has been launched! We've got big, big plans for the website, lots of cool features, but for the moment we needed something up. We think it's more than adequate and hope you enjoy it!

Taking Shape

With high school hockey season on the way, Greg and I came up with the idea of doing some advertising within the hockey community. We got a spot for a huge banner for the business to be hung right above the away team's bench in the Wisconsin Rapids Rec Center. We also shelled out some extra money to get ourselves a full page add in the hockey program. I was commissioned to design the cover for the program as well, and I must say, it looks outstanding. We'll also be receiving credit for the design in the "special thanks" printed on the back of the program as well. Since a program is handed out to every attendant at each game, that means we'll be seen by people from out of town as well as Rapids residents. We're really excited about this opportunity to get noticed. We've commissioned programmer Dave Armstrong to construct our website which will hopefully be up and running sometime before December. We'll be implementing member pages where clients will be able to log in, see all the jobs they've hired us for, pick and choose which they want to take a peak at, and then leave feedback on each piece. We think this is a really great way to get projects done quickly and efficiently, while still maintaining the highest level of quality in our work. Doing this allows the artist the time he needs to work, all the while posting progress reports in the member section so the client has an idea of what's going on with any given project at any given time without being left in the dark. We've got our first shipment of business cards in, so expect to see some floating around if you're in central to southern Wisconsin. At the moment we've got contacts in Wisconsin Rapids, Milwaukee, Sun Prairie, and Madison. We hope things to be fully operational and running smoothly by Christmas. Building

Things are really coming along great in the production of the business. The website unfortunately is still in the works, but we've got a lot of great advertising opportunities, and are starting to get the word around anyway. Since ESs covers so many different service areas and so many types of media to offer to our customers, its quite overwhelming attempting to manage everything at once, but with a little elbow grease and some perseverance, we'll manage. We'll be hanging an ESs banner at the South Wood County Rec Center as well as recieving a full page advertisement in their WIAA Hockey program that is available at each and every home game. We've been commissioned to design the cover for the program and, if I do say so myself, it looks amazing. They're definitely pleased. We're also looking to advertise on the Wisconsin Prep Hockey website which will also get us some really great exposure. I (jake) have been elected to hold a series of photoshop seminars for the college i currently attend (Herzing College Madison) and will definitely slip in a shameless plug here and there. Be on the lookout for us!

What goes on? Greg here, giving a shout out intro... of myself. I'm co-owner of the new Eternal Soul Studios (ESs)

As each of us bring our unique skill set to the company as Jake had mentioned, I bring in my vinyl art and minor design experience along with my business background to Eternal Soul. I've owned Eternal GraphX since 2004 before merging with Ruesch Arts and Soulspear early in September of 2008. Check out my last website, eternalgraphx.com for a few pics of my past work.

Hello and welcome!

This, obviously is the first blog entry for Eternal Soul Studios (ESs). ESs is comprised of three talented, and driven individuals who have recently teamed up to form one all-encompassing design business. As time goes on, we'll delve deeper into the structure and cohesion of our well rounded team. But alas, these are the beginning stages of our journey. Since time is short, and there is much work to be done, I'll have to keep this blog a short one. There are big things coming from us here at ESs, so stay tuned!
